FYI -
DS Days and East Coast DS Days are registered subdomains - meaning if you do a websearch for either of them, their websites show up at the top of the list. Having your pics in DS Days gallery means that anybody around the globe that catches wind of the events will be looking at them as soon as they do a websearch and find the site, including Sand Sports Magazine which is convering the events in an upcoming issue.
Like I said, its not my site, its our site, its just a common place for all us DS riders to post pics at, free and easy to find. Nobody should feel obligated to use it, but know that it is there simply for all our enjoyment, and will be for years to come. Since its introduction a few months ago, it has recieved over 3,900 viewings. All of Bombsaint's pics have been viewed 17 times each at the time I typed this post.


Entomber and anybody else who may have difficulty, you must first register, just click on register and follow the motions. once registered you must login to upload. once logged in you simply click on "upload files" and select from your file manager. 5 at a time. once uploaded it will ask you which folder you want them in, be sure to put them inthe right place, and also this is where you type in a description and all that jazz.




Regretibly, I took no pictures! I spent so much time riding and fellowshipping at the beach and in the parking lot, I never got around to getting the camera out!!

 

Ok....thanks....I will try to upload them tonight and see if it takes this time!! I have gotten alot of great responces so far from the videos I took!! Can't wait to do it again. Hopfully I have the money to get some mods put on and be able to stay with you guys!!!!!

 

I can't see the vids!!! company's web monitor won't allow it!! gonna have to download at home this weekend, on slow dial up!! can't wait to see them though.

 

Hightower, I found it.. I did register last night but I was tired and just couldn't find the upload icon....sending some now.

 

Okay Hightower.. I tried sending 4 images that are NOT on my page.. and no go. The resolution I take pics at are very large (4 MB each). What I like about my page/space is it automatically reduces them and makes life easy and simple for me. I will see if I can squeeze some time and resize a handful and send to that page. Trust me taking so many pics and coming back home to dump them is a tremendous chore, let alone to resize em all. I also have some I want to string together in Photoshop as I took a few panoramic views of the dunes.

Okay guys last try, I upped the allowed size to 6Meg, with max dimension of either length or heigth to be 6000 pixels, I hope this is enough, if they still won't go then its not possible with the software I have and I'm sorry. I never dreamed there would be problems, I have about 40 registered users on this type of gallery and none of them have encountered any problems until now so I am learning as I go too. Thanks for being patient and trying.

I understand about the time and hassle to resize, wish I had time to resize them for you Dave, but I'm pretty short on it too, gotta manage the website and participate in it and the forums and take care of the family needs too so I just don't have time to collect everybody's stuff and shrink and upload them.

Many employer's web security does not allow access to sites such as myspace.com and many others like it, my employer included. Unfortunately I cannot visit these places to view or download or copy anything due to them having explicit material not suitable for the workplace. That blows!




Hey Dstroyer can you send me contant info for the place that rebuilt your shocks? Thanks man! Also a link for that MonkeyButt website?

 

If anyone wants to burn their images to a cd and mail them to me, send me a PM. I can resize them and upload them to the ds days gallery. Videos too. It would also help me out since I didn't get to take any pics.
