russ, i will be at the campground at the butt crack of dawn. i talked to the lady there today and told her i plan to be there at like 5 in the morning. this allows me to set up camp and get a carb on my quad if i dont have one yet. i plan on hitting the dunes as soon as possible. there is achance i can make it up ther late friday night some time after midnight though.

i just remembered to ask.... do i need a square flag for my whip? the silver lake web sit says square and my whips have triangle flags on them. i can make a couple of square ones if needed. does anyone know for sure?

 

there is a good chance they will get you if you have a triangle flag, also it has to stick up 10' off the ground.

 

I got denied entry with a triangle flag! Had to go to store next to parking lot to get a rectangular one.

i just measured mine and it is 9ft on the quad....$*%$#@!
are the whips and mounts expensive up there?
