Head Gaskets ???
#1
Been doing research on head gaskets now for awhile the cometic latered gaskets seem to be the high use, But I been chatting with 5 builders now and they are having copper gaskets made for them custom for 2 strokes amd the 4 strokes they claim that the paper gaskets compress to much and that copper wont compress but exspand, they are also going away from gaskets and just going with O rings.
Thoughts???

ERBE,
I have to agree with the experts here. If copper expands and vibrates, it contracts too. Adjusting valves is for the birds.
I've had a half foot long penny that was earlier put on Stone Mountain train track. Copper may work for 2 strokes, but not for 4 strokes due to elasticity, heat, mechanical head vibration, and weight factors.
I've never heard of any problems with stock head gasket or adjusting valves.
