2007 BRP Outlander 800XT or 1000XT
#31
Its probably that 2wd Outy 800 Baha race quad they have been rumored to be going to make available to the public. And maybe that long awaited new sport quad to take on the 450 class machines of the other major quad mfg's. Don't get me wrong I would love it if they would go ahead and up the stakes to a 1000cc's but for some reason I just don't see them doing it, till at least some other quad mfg gets at least close to, out performing the Outy 800.

BRP, never waits for the comp to catch up, they do there own thing. Think about it, did they wait with the PWC,.....no, did the wait with the snowmobiles.....no, did they wait with Jet Boats?....no..............
BRP, just says for you to eveyone else and goes big.......We already know they have an Outlander 1000XT Prodotype...this info was publish in a Canadian Quad mag last year....... the only question is when............my guess it this Summer!!!!!!!
Here what I think:
Rhino type side by side, 650 and 1000
Outlander 1000
DS 800
DS 450 2 Stroke *yes I said 2 Stroke, BRP 2 stroke SDI are VERY Green

For ATV's, the Outlander 800 rocks, but before this BRP wasn't leading anything, they were trying to catch up to the Sprotsman 800, KQ 700, and Brute Force 750.
My point is that all the companies need each other to gauge consumer demand, and this competition is great for producing better ATV's for everyone.

I don't know much about motorcycles, or PWC, but as far as snowmobiles the REV's have a ways to go. The last few years it wasn't uncommon to see F7's beat the Ski-doo's 800's. And the Mach 1000 is really new, they didn't have anything to compete with the Thundercat (172 hp) back in the late 90's/early 2000's. Well I do have a Arctic Cat F7 EFI SP, and it does best the Rev 800 in a straite line.........but it handles like sh$t compared to the REV. Cat did the right thing going to the new rider forward next year. Remember who changed the face of snowmobile...Ski doo.....and thats why there no.1 in Sales. My point was thought that NOTHING stock will touch the Mach Z 1000. BRP modo, go big or go home
