Are the bolt patterns different on the swingarm plate? We had a plate for an 05 and didn't bother to put it on..so we sold it and a guy is claiming false that it will not fit! The plate we had looked as if it would fit perfectly..so if someone could clear this up that would be great!! Thanks

 

The swingarm changed for the 04 and up and yes the bolt pattern is different from 04 and up. I orderd a dg skid plate and they claimed it would fit and was made for a 04 but it was made for 03 and older and didnt line up at all.
