Default Laker Plastic

I am going to get some Laker Plastic....but for those who sell it.... are they going to come out with a dune package???? Nice shaved rear's and the front nose??? I am going to have the IMS tank so no need for the tank cover...do they even make the tank cover??? Just seems like it would be a good package.....I have no need for the front fender's and all the extra plastic on the rear's......be nice to get the price down a little and not order some stuff that is just going to sit in the box.....the front fenders and extra plastic from the rears......

Thanks,
Tom

just ordered in some OEM plastics. Unless you are going for a different color, I don't see why in the heck you would go aftermarket. You wouldn't believe how cheap the OEM front plastic is. It's literally a fraction of what Laker Plastic wants. Then again, if you want a different color.....

Hi bombdsbaja,
I have an 04 BajaX and just bought the Black rear plastics like 3 - 4 months ago.
They look a lot better (To me) and are a bit stiffer than the stockers. The new rears kind of keep that stock functionality but more of a styleish cut and trim. Worth the money to me.
I have seen some of the Gray ones that looked pretty nice to. The gray goes weill with the 04 Baja colors.
Plastics are pricy like in the 2 bills range but man do they really make the bike look a lot better.
Its not all about looks but the old stockers look like some thing off a VW bug or some thing.

Not sure on the back plastic, but I was talking about the front stuff. I got both the tank cover and the hood for right at 80bones.

Not sure what the back goes for.

Mike,
I have stock plastic, rears shaved, and prolly need a new front. The rears on the bike I got from Mario are in good shape, but exactly as you said, I want another color....and from what I have found this would save me some money over having custom paint done.... Thanks for the Info SD

Thanks,
Tom

Dealer.....

The ordering is a little confusing for the parts guy, but the price is definitely right.

I wanted something different so I ordered a full set of new shiny silver laker plastics which were delivered today thanks to on-dunes. Now I need to pick out a color to powder coat my frame to go with the new plastics. I have bought new plastics in the past from the dealer but the black ones just don't hold their finish.
