Default ds pipe

I'll always stick by my Yoshi...Very good quality pipe and insane bottom and mid range grunt. The only downside it has is how loud it is...EXTREMELY loud (need earplugs loud)

im pretty sure im going to get the endcap and it will probably be the odp instead of the mrh is that a good choice and has anyone else noticed that when you jump the ds it seems like something cracked in the front end when you land and it wasnt even a big jump. thanks

Mines never cracked, as you put it. Did you check it out to make sure everything is fine?

Hey FatHolly did you mean that the Big Gun and the HMF ran about the same??
I had the End Cap and when I switched to the B/G I noticed the loss of some bottom end over the End Cap but an increase in midrage and top end.

I did not like the big gun at all. It did not pull as hard as the HMF maybe had better top end but getting to the top end it did not pull as hard. This was a couple years ago, and since I got my intake ported... there is no comparison now... HMF with the porting and no air box kills his setup. Niether of us have any dyno pulls but my pants tell me I'm faster.

Hey fxrider9382,
I know you looking for the most bang for the buck especially when dealing with parts for the DS but after playing with 3 different setups waisting money each time I caved in and paid for the Ron Woods full exhaust. A little heavy but to me it sounds great and performs even better besides some thing has to off set the battery !
Just seemed like the best free flowing pipe to me. Specifically designed for the DS not re-engineered for it.
Do a search for the exhaust threads and you will be reading for days, for the cost Yes those end caps are worth it I switched over to one for a while but come time for other mods you will end up rejetting and swapping out the pipe again, then tuneing again.
Do it right the first time and you will never look back.
Remember Opnions are like A*&%oles....
