Default ds pipe

im going to get a pipe real soon and ive been thinking about the mrh endcap but is the odp endcap pretty much the same but with disks. I heard the top gun was probably the best pipe but its pretty expensive and i think it only gives it 2 more horsepower. So what do you guys think would be the best one to get. thanks

Depends on your needs. Do you have Db limits? Need to be Spark Arrested? If so, I would go with the ODP Spark Arressted end cap, or HMF pipe if money is the thing. The Top Gun looks and sounds pretty good also, and should beat both for power if you don't mind a little more out the pocket....

I personally am running the ODP End Cap and the difference it made on my bike was very impressive. however I am currently putting on the HMF pipe. We will see what kind of difference it makes on my bike.

I love my HMF... HPR used to advertise it and the Yosh as the only slip ons they recomend, until they put out the Top Gun... then they dropped it and only have the Top Gun and Yosh. HMF has great power I am totally happy... I don't think I will ever need another pipe... I rode my buddy's DS with a Big Gun full pipe and there was not much difference. After the HPR full race port I am killing him.

Hey I will give a quick and easy way to add some power for now. Until you decide exactly what you want. You can take your end cap off and cut the pipes on the back sie of it off. This will help open it up. It makes a world of difference. The only thing with doing that is you will no longer be spark arrested, but it is a cheap and easy way to get some air moving until you decide which pipe you want. I am going to Oregon easter weekend to run mine with the hmf and I will let you know what I think of the difference between it and the ODP End Cap

If db isn't a problem, then I would consider the White Brothers R4 slip-on. I have it on mine, and it sounds real nice, and I was impressed with the power gain. It is REAL loud though, too loud for me.

On a stock motor the Wood racing full exhaust makes really good power and its ceramic coated.

If theres no noise limit, end cap for sure. Its the cheapest and will give you a nice increase in power.
