Reliable Mods to get me over 50hp?
Dude, come on. Keep the personal attacks out of an informational thread. This one is for a DS brother looking for some good info on some good power. So far everyone has stated thier opinions and even though they differ, have given good info for why they feel that way and kept it to info...Let's put this personal stuff back on the yammy forum where it belongs.

Just throw a little N2O to it and be done....some of the best money you will ever spend...in fact, Im so impressed with it that Im trying to talk my wife into letting me put it on her minivan,

NOS can be tuned to be very predictable. In fact, you talk to quite a few people like myself who do not know how to tune nitrous and it can be nothing more than a little bump to get that extra pull that your needing to feel. But on the same token, it can be a very aggressive pull as well. I dont see any reason why you cant utilize nitrous when climbing hills....especially if you have it tuned for that type of riding. ALRIGHT, LET THE BASHING BEGIN,

Since we are talkin' carbs. . .
I gotta say. . . I love my FCR's. GREAT throttle response.
++++ You save $$ because you don't need to buy a ported intake. Just get the BMW (Rubber) intake and you can port match it yourself.
The rubber intake for the duals is about $30 (if I remember right) and the ported intake for the single carb set-up is about $150 (again, if I remember right.) That money saved on the ported intake can be used on the added cost of the FCR Carbs.
The FCR's are the carb of choice for the Raptor's. Still not sure why they haven't caught on for the DS's as much. But, there are a number of guys running them that see great success.
As for cams. . .
Do cams and a high compression piston at the same time. You'll need better valve springs and you'll have to pull the head for that.
A bike with Cams and Piston is NIGHT and DAY faster than carb/pipe.
