Default KMS Fuel Injection

I just got the EFI from KMS, the guys are installin it but are running into a lot of problems, the directions call for 2-3 hour installation time lol, thats scratched. The setup is for a stock regular DS650, i wish i was asked if i had the Baja version b/c things are called to be mounted where the fog light setup is, and i have the radiator shrouds which are in the way, luckily my headlight was removed so they put the cpu where the headlight sits, i didnt like it sittin in front of the radiator, need the air to keep 'er cool.

Few questions for those with the EFI, what did you guys do about the main part fittin upto the air tube under the seat, its real tight and the seat wont fit over it the way it sits up since the air tube is so long?
Does anyone have this with the Baja?
Does anyone have a stock throttle cable laying around? I had the TM45 and that cable wont work wit the efi so i gotta find a stock one. Thanx

Are you running the turbo or just the EFI? I have been running the EFI for a few years now so some changes may have been made since then. The ECU mounts on the same bracket that the factory nose plastic mounts to. In that position the ECU does not block any more air flow then the factory plastic does.

I too had to get a stock throtle cable. The dealer has a decent price on them or check out the garage thread.

Check out my web site, I did a full write up on my EFI install. Post here or PM me if you got any more questions.

I guess I'm lucky, as I live in the same area as KMS and had Kelly do the Turbo / EFI install.

Once you get it installed, you will be smiling.
