OverRaTeD, man it was like you were reading my mind, that is the exact product that someone was trying to pawn off on me, it seems to be working marginally well for them, but if it truly compromises your injectors, not to mention the whole bs pyrimid scheme theory, pretty much answers my questions on that product. thanks

Those tablets (BioPerformance) are part of a pyramid marketing scheme exploiting peoples desire to pay less for gas and get better mileage during current times of high prices. The only thing I can guarantee you they will do is clog your fuel filter. Stay away from it.

Wow, looks what happens when I go out of town again 5 pages of posts later and Im accused of a hit and run
Don't worry DSNUT I have more to say but 2 weeks of vacation 3K miles of UT, ID, OR, CA, and NV roads (add up that Deisel cost at 3.19 a gallon!) have finally caught up with me, way behind at work.
Besides trying to start a heated polital debate which I dearly love, I think that many including Blackhawk have said all I really wanted to.
It's time for any and all the alternative fuels to come into play, I don't think we need to or can entirely replace fossil fuels, yet, we just need more alternatives so the DEMAND is spread out amoung a bigger SUPPLY keeping costs more practical while protecting out national treasures. Its simple economics, and environmentalism.
In my opinion Bush's hand in this is not using his power and influence to push for these alternitives until now and rolling along with the status quo. I have my politically motivated reasons for believing that way.
Its late, I'm tired.

Again, stop listening to the news and go educate yourself on how the oil industry actually works. The same real Americans that buy gas are share holders in oil companies and are reaping these profits.
Here is another statistic that you won't like, SLC: For every gallon of fuel you buy, $0.09 goes to the oil companies as profit. That same gallon of gasoline has a little over $0.50 in taxes that you pay. The rest is cost + a little margin for gas station owners.
My statements are not politically motivated. They are statements of fact based on what I have studied. If GW was at fault, I would blame him without batting an eye.

What oil are you planning on refining if there were more refineries avaliable DSNUT, I have a problem with oil companies price gouging the american consumers, and our President is owned by those folks!
If we drilled Alaska there would be enough for about 6 months under current US consumption rates. Are we going to drill up and destroy the whole planet before we all come to the same conclusion. Dont blame the greenies for an antiquated fuel source, the answer is alternative fuels the oil companies/car manufacturers have the technology they're just waiting until they have bled us dry with fossil fules before they have to make the expensive switch to those fuel sources.
We all just sit back and take it until they are done f'n with us and our pocketbooks.
I bought a Desiel truck last year because it has historically been a cheaper fuel source, and I can run Bio-desiel when it becomes more avaliable, 2 weeks later the price of desiel went over the price of super unleaded for the first time in history! Its cheaper to produce but they finally realized that this country's economy depends heavily on the trucking industry and they decided to go after them as well, and blame it all on the war in Iraq, they need more jet fuel dont ya know.
We have no choice but to pay the higher prices, and support efforts to realize alternative fuels.
Didn't you pay attention to GW earier this week he even supports it now LMFAO.

This is the only response I made to you. Why not respond to this instead of assuming my comments to others were aimed at you?

No, I was referring to anyone who made irresponsible statements on the subject without even attempting to substantiate their view with facts. Wouldn't that exlcude you from the definition? I hope your vacation was relaxing.

I talked to a former employee today who is working with E85 as a performance fuel for Snowmobiles. I dont know how successfull he will be, but I thought it was interesting that people are taking a hard look at the performance capability of this fuel.
