Nut, I can agree with that. I did assume, and that is wrong. You do act like one who is well off with your comments.
I know where your coming from. Some people do think that its the rich peoples fault. Actually its the bosses fault. There making all the money and starving there employees. Sqeege makes a good point, things that happen like Enron, World Com and the such put such a bitter taste in your mouth. Rich people screwing everyone else.
I do believe everyone had the opportunities to do with there life anything they want. It just takes work. I live by a simple phrase that Og Mandino wrote"Rich people are those who take the risks that the poor people are afraid to take."

I really think getting out of the "employee" mentality is the first step toward getting away from employee wages and on to something better.
By the way, when I sound like I am wealthy because of the position I take on this subject.............that should be some evidence that I believe these things out of principle since I can't count myself among the wealthy yet. When I got married, I was taking home $1200 per month and our house payment was $541 per month. LOL I think I can say I have been poor before as well. That house went up $30k though in 2 years.
If people would buy a house first thing instead of a nice car or motorcycle, they wouldn't have to worry so much about gas prices But I suppose I am cruel and out of touch for having that outlook............

Nut, I can say I have never had an employee that I know of think that about me. Of course they feel I make more money than them, but I have had an employee making more money than me at one time, and he was worth it.
I do think your biased about buying a house, lol. But I do agree. Nothing like building a home and getting the equity out of it to help secure a financial well being, but I am biased as well.

Mudnuri,
Regarding the cliff comment, I feel the way I do because I have studied this stuff and have educated myself on what works and what doesn't.
Here is a little something I have learned. Watch what rich people do and do whatever you can to help them have more money and they will be the kinds of friends that can bring you real opportunity.
The alternative is to resent them and keep lining their pockets by working for them. I choose the former

I have another one you guys are gonna love
How many think you should get paid to work? I don't. The employee mentality is you get paid to work. That will not get anyone anywhere.
The truth is you get paid to produce results. Once that reality sets in, the whole work situation changes. Anyone could go and pick the same rock up over and over again and call it work but it wouldn't accomplish much.
Think in terms of results and pay raises will come
Have fun with that one!
