I work at China Lake Naval Air Warfare Center.....I work in a machine shop and do purchasing.....Navy Civilian...
I work for a mattress retailer, in San Diego, I run the operations for the distribution center. Saturday is chill... we don't do any recieving and all I have to do is send out my trucks with deliveries and hope for only a few problems. Its ok... accept for the working on Saturday thing. Oh yea I also have to work most holidays... big sale days ya know. It cool I still get my riding in... my boss is one of my oldest friends, so we ride together all the time... he just doesn't get why I'm on the forum all day so he busts my ballz about being on so much and f@cking off all day.

Now I know who to call for a good deal on a set of mattresses....ROFLOL! Yall keep em coming....I need some tires for my truck,

I could definetly hook you up but shipping cost to LA would eat up whatever I could save you... I shipped a set to a friend in Boston from Cali and he only saved a couple bucks in the end. Be careful of those nice beds once you go to something high end, you can NEVER go back... I'm a big ole' mettress snob now... I got a $1000 mattress in the drop down rack in my buddies trailer, I can't even sleep on anything less... life is good in the desert.

$1000 for a mattress set is very average... we sell sets that retail for over $5000, and one of our stores sell a set that runs about $10,000... that one comes with delivery service that includes "red carpet service" we litterally lay down red carpet in the customers home so nothing get damaged or soiled. The markup on these things is insane.

It really depends on how much you want to spend... If you just need a matt only I could hook you up with something nice for $600-$700. The more comfort you want the more $$$ you will have to dish out... I like a really firm bed cause I'm a larger gentleman, and like I say about 600-700 for something that is worth while. It not worth it to drop 300 or 400 on something that is just a POS. IMO
