I freakin hate working Saturdays. Every Saturday morning I sit waiting for anyone to post and there are only a couple posts. So here it is I'll be here every Saturady wanting some conversation... today is the day that I can sit here an not have my mouse on the minimize button for fear that my boss is going to sneak up on me. Lets hear it!

Man if I didn't have to work today I would be out at Buttercup... I know ILivSD is out there, and I have a whole crew of friends that are there too. I would head out after work but It will be too late and everyone packs up to leave early on Sunday... Its just not worth the fuel to go out for 2 Sunday morning rides... although I have done it before. Oh well I'll sit here and b!tch to anyone who will listen. I want to get out a couple more times before the bad heat starts hittin'. I've been out there in August for a night ride and that is just crazy. By June it will be too hot for my fat ****, so I'm runnin' out of time... If I don't get my fill I just might have to make a trip to Pismo this summer.
Dude tell me about it,
and if saturdays are slow, well I'm working all Saturday night - and 13 hours of it to boot!! I don't think there is a slower time any other time of the week, except maybe sunday nights!

Couple hours late....but non-the less stopping in to say morning.........OK so now i'm going to bed...lol..................have a good day............

Tom

P.S. my ride didn't happen to yesterday....but it will today......

some come on guys give it up tonight - set you alarm and log on at 3:00 or 4:00am (eastern time) to say hi to this slave to the grind in Indianapolis!

I work almost every weekend and have for almost 20 years . my wife and I own a tool related business and travel around the westeren united states in our bus conversion RV pulling a 20 ft enclosed trailer loaded with a 100 foot long display of tools and a tiny fork lift which we unload with. we set up our display almost every weekend at car shows and automotive related swap meets where we have to stand up all day helping customers. generally we leave home on friday or saturday morning and drive for part of the day and then we set up for about 2 hours and cover everything. then at 5:30 am the next morning we get up and uncover and never sit down again till maybe 3pm. some weekends we have 2 shows several hundred miles apart and we have to do the whole thing twice. if I decide to take a weekend of in the middle of my work season I loose quite a bit of income. there are some weekends where we have no shows like all major holiday weekends and all winter of course. we generally dont work at all from mid november till mid february . I actually like it real well and couldnt see myself doing anything else. I cant stand working for other people and like having all week off while all businesses are open so that I can get things done. oh , and off the subject..... If I was offered $21,000.00 for my new turbo quad (which I havent even riden yet) do you think I should take it? wanted to keep this one and call it quits on building them as Im completely burnt out and dont know if I have the drive to build another one.

Tell him if he really wants it, you'll take no less than $30,000. tehe If I built it myself, I'd definitely hang onto it, but that's just me.
