All I can say is I bet that most BRP fans will be real happy.

Heck, I haven't even been able to glean any new information from anyone!!! So I stick to what I have believed for the last year. At the very least a new (edited), with an all new rotax motor....(I know, I know, there is no (edited) listed on Rotax's site and no it's not the (edited)!!!) Plus a new (edited) to replace the (edited). I doubt they will have room in the lineup for a (edited) and another (edited)...JMO....

You mind filling in the blanks?
Yea, I'm curious how those will fill in too. Especially the part about fitting something into the lineup... They shure as hell fit another 3 Outlanders into it, for a total of 6.... do we really need that many?

The ones giving up the most I would think would have to Kawi and then Polaris. Honda and Yamaha have such a die hard following they can get away with selling marginal to unimproved quads year after year. Kawi jump on the ATV map as real performer only a few years ago and Polaris is relativly new in market compared to Honda and Yamaha. Kawi and Polaris were also the leader of the big ute market untill the Outy 800 showed up and trumped there offerings last year.

Heck, I haven't even been able to glean any new information from anyone!!! So I stick to what I have believed for the last year. At the very least a new450 with an all new rotax motor....(I know, I know, there is no 450 listed on Rotax's site and no it's not the Aprilla !!!) Plus a new Big bore sporty to replace the DS. I doubt they will have room in the lineup for a DS and another big bore...JMO....

Now, as you can see, the first part about the 450 has not yet happened. I believe that, is the next step. Remember the commitment that there would be new model releases every 6 months. The Renegade was the next logical step considering the amount of time and R&D they spend with Penland and Epic over the last year with the Outlander.

Now, the DS is still in the lineup, and sales will tell wether it gets a much needed makeover or dropped all together. For now I see Can-Am focused on the Renegade as their GNCC and Desert, go to quad, no longer the DS.

The thing with the 450 is because they don't currently have a motor, the entire quad will have to be built from the ground up, which is good news considering, unlike the Japaneese quads, it will have a propriatary motor designed from the ground up for quad use, and if they want to get back to the roots of Can-Am, this could now open the door for them to get back into Motocross and have a 450 ready for action.

Patiently waiting for the next shoe to drop...

I wouldn't assume Can-Am will remain an ATV-only company for too long. I suspect Polaris will capitalize on it's agreement with KTM to offer dirt bikes at some point. BRP and Polaris have been rivals for years in the snowmobile market, then in the PWC market, and now the ATV market. If Polaris is going to offer dirt bikes, you can bet Can-Am will be there too.

A similar relationship between BRP and Arctic Cat exists too. Arctic Cat makes some outstanding snowmobiles, and that's a good thing too, because Bombardier and Polaris ran them out of the PWC market, and I have to imagine they're running circles around Arctic's ATV product line too.

Hey, let's not misquote me here, I didn't comment on either AC or Polaris waterfraft...

Lets see, Polaris had the Tiger Shark and AC had the Barracuda I believe....both short lived.
