Hi guys.
I did a search for any help but couldnt find what I was looking for. Anyway I still have the original battery in my 2001 ds and its getting week and wont hold a charge. It is time for a new one I know that. What I am wondering is if it will run alright with a week battery? Also will the bike die if the battery gets to week? I dont want to be out riding and have it die on me with no way to get back. Thanks for any help.

 

You should deffinetly replace your battery. The DS is notorious for very poor performance with a low battery. Many people have had big problems due to low batteries. Get yourself a PC545 off eBay.
