I'm just funnin' Mario, hope you can make it!
I don't know who you're gonna race though, except Majorecho, there's gonna be several DS's but none of them built to hillshoot like you got going on, just a bunch of stage II's with little to no headwork and stock axles. There'a gonna be some banshees and 450's in the group though with plenty of work.
BigDaddy sorry to hear you can't make it out, I was looking forward to meeting ya! Understandable though, keep focused on DS Days and shine strong at that event!

Skip closed up shop some time ago..... Got out of the business I'm told. Sure wish I could have bought that dyno though.
Mario, I don't think that the car dyno will work for you any more. Your rear end will not span any more. Or was it a single drum? If it was a single then you will be fine. Can't remember. I've got another source..... I'll call you later today.
HT, yea.... I'll be out for DS days for sure. Just don't think that the bike will be back together by then. 100% anyway...
I'll meet you guys soon enough, and I've got lots of drinks to buy.

bigger had the pickup mount modified to give more timing for alcohol. if you're running on gas and w/NOS you will need to remove some timing depending on the amount of the shot and the static compression you're running as well as other factors.

Scooby, I just got done opening the magneto case. I saw where they drilled out the pick-up and rocked it back to advance. I looked at one of my other motors as a template. But I could see where the original scars were on the pickup holder. I set it back to stock. I ALSO almost lost a little washer. Its the one that goes over the idle gear I HOPE. I almost lost it. I remembered when we put together another motor and I "THINK" It went over the spacer on the idle gear. It looks like it would hold the starter gear in place...
The motor idled at a lower rpm after the change.
.Can anyone confirm the smaller washer that goes over the spacer on the idle gear?
Also, Is it normal for that side to have about 3/4th quart of oil in it? Someone told me it should be semi-dry.
