Thanks guys. Thats what I was kinda affraid of. There is a used set of supposedly ron wood stage 3 cams, but the guy knows nothing about them other than what he was told when he bought the quad and that was that it was a stage 3 rw kit. Oh well, I guess I will just continue the thought of putting the cbr600f2 engine in the pig.

I run a1/a2 cams, I love them, I have never had a complaint of any part of the powerband. I did not lose any low end over the stock motor at all, although I did install an 11.5:1 piston at the same time, and gains in mid and top very noticable. I love them, from the moment of the very first sprint across the yard I loved how the front end lifted easier with just a blip of the throttle, and then reved to the moon. I have a tach, and its cool to watch it and see how right at about 2600rpm all of a sudden the rev just starts taking off - below 2600 there isn't much going on at all, and then all of a sudden here they come and as you pass 3K the smiles follow.
I can't compare them to other grinds from other suppliers cause I have not ran the others.
the RWR cams are stamped with an i.d. on the end that the cam sprocket covers - cam sprocket removal will reveal their i.d., mine have a1 stamped on one and a2 stamped on the other. RWR has not always used the same cam grinder so not sure if they all have these stampings, but mine did at least. Web used to grind their cams, but they do not anymore according to the girl at Web I always talk to when I order stuff.
if you upgrade to a more agressive cam, regardless of which ones you choose you will need to upgrade valves springs too.

What would you guys do with cam specs? Do you know the line where less duration is more power in the band or more duration is more power on your motor? Do you know how much lift you really need?
How many of us would know by the simple lift and duration specs on the listed cams where the power band is at and how much extra power they actually add?
If you had the lift and duration specs, would you know which cams to buy that best compliment your other mods?
I am learning tremendous things about cams and I can't tell what I want by the max lift and duration specs. I would have to see the contour and know where in the stroke the cams were opening the valves and about 5 other factors that you can't really determine with calipers. Fuel and timing are critical factors in what grind you need.
With all due respect, asking for max lift and duration and expecting that to tell you what you need to know is kind of like only asking the square footage and how many stories a house is before you decide which one you want to buy.
Max lift and duration are the tip of the iceberg in the cam world.
The first one of you guys who doesn't like the fact that one comany won't give out their cam specs can tell me the other factors besides lift and duration that go into cam grinds and can tell me how simply having the max lift and duration specs can explain to you these other factors, allowing you to make an informed cam selection I will mail you a check for $50. A good check to, lol.
The offer is good until midnight on the day of this post
Btw, my HR4's have more lift and more duration than my 109's did but they have far more bottom end, a little more midrange and and moderately more topend with more over rev. Compare that to conventional wisdom that bigger cams have more top end but sacrifice bottom end.
There is the gauntlet on cams laying on the ground.

No disrespect taken but thank you. I dont know that much about it and I dont try to, but what I was thinking is if two companies had a set of cams that were equal than we could let price decide. And no one company could over charge for their stuff. I not saying that any companies do over charge but how do we really know.
