Ok, what is good about one over the other. Is one better for this application, and another for that???

I ran the race 7's for about a year and half and had a vavle spring failure, which resulted in about a $3,000 repair (new head, head work, new piston, cylinder, cams etc.) I was going to run the 7's again but decided to go with a less aggressive cam (A1/A2). If you go with the 7's just keep in mind that they love the high rpm's, at least that was what I experienced. I made my first run with the A1/A2 cams and noticed a nice and steady power all the way through the power band. If you do go with the 7's you also want to make sure you change those valve springs more often or you could have a problem like I did.

Why can't you have a cam set that gives you great power from bottom to top?

It would be nice if every company gave thier cam specs so willingly.
