Man the price of these machines are starting to get way out of control. I really like what I'm reading about the new Renegade but at 10K that is just to much.
This fall I will be in the market for a new ATV but with so much competition, it will be very interesting as to what I will be purchasing.

I priced out a Renegade today, 13,000CDN! Yiks. But that doesnt seem to stop some ppl. The dealership said there is so many ppl that put a order in 4 the renegade that they're gonna be behind for months. On the positive side i get to test drive 1 in early sept. or so.

I did a little spread sheet to calculate the difference in real after tax cost in Ontario buying some Bombs at U.S. vs Canadian advertised m.s.r.p.
Here's the results, now remember this is including the exchange rate at todays rates, this is what I would spend more buying here vs 300 miles south of here:
800
stock 2837 more
xt 3009 more
max 2964 more
max xt 3137 more
650
stock 2715 more
xt 2887 more
max 2843 more
max xt 3015 more
Renegade 2711 more

Hi there, this is my first post to the forum. Hope it's ok to bring back an old thread.
I'm about to buy an Outlander 500XT. I also noticed that the MSRP was much higher than the exchange rate warrants. But after the quotes from several local dealers that are in the neighbourhood of $1000 more than the US price plus exchange, once I factor in the cost of fuel for the 800 km (one way) trip to my nearest US Can-Am dealer, the (at least) two days I would have to take off work and any meals or accomodations it becomes hard to justify the trip. It still sucks to be charged extra for a product that is made in Canada though.

Yes, from where your located its over 6hrs just to the border. Its hard to justify drivin that far. You mite have to bit the bullet and shop local. Try Martins in EDM. They have lots of stock there and good to deal with

I talked to Martin's and Riverside. Neither of them would match the price of Turple Bros in Red Deer and actually didn't seem to care about making new customers . I burn company gas in my truck and go to Red Deer often so I don't mind a short trip for the better service.
