im a bit more not-as-pissed and checked out the issues that were sent back and the only thing i can say is that it does suck. as we know thats the way it is. the only real key items were the wheels because i dont now have the scratch for the rims and i want to dress her up. if i got it with it it would have been super nice. the car deal is just the dealer and whether they want your business again. i bet ya have not been to that dealer since which is the right thing because some dealers just dont care and thats just wrong!

Just ride and enjoy my man. You still have one sick machine that is a whole heap of fun. Don't waste the time and energy feeling bad about it, since it won't change things. Also, I say spend the dough on enhancements that will help performance. A new pipe and fuel mgmt. system will make the shiny wheel crowd cower.

Mine came with a dealer installed Big Gun and whatever other gear is required to make it work. About $1K worth of stuff. Sounds great and, I assume, contributes to some of the power. You might also check with Ron Woods Racing. They are making high-performance outlander options.

I agree man, you got a heck of a machine and if it weren't for the Renegade's pending release I'd be getting one this summer.....now I'm in a bit of a dilemma, wanna sell my DS and Outlander 330 to make room for a Renegade but I have people NOW interested in my quads but might have to wait till Nov-Dec or even early next year before the the R'ngades are available....I don't want to be down to one Quad over the summer <sigh>.

On the wheel thing, I've though about upgrading but I'm either hard on wheels/tires or I simply have had some bad luck but I've beaten up some tires and wheels and I don't think I'm hard on my machines...prob. cause of a lot of river bottom riding and all that river rock.

That Renegade sure does look sweet and is what the race team will switch to. If you want to use it for hunting or camping though, I think you will be out of luck.

I've been wanting a DS 650, but I decided to wait a bit. I called a BRP customer service person who told me that they are also planning on a full race quad in 2WD some time in "the near future." He implied that it wouldn't be an 800, but did say that holding off on the 650 might be wise.

4me, didn't you say you have the '07 sitting in the garage with your '06? So you purchased the 07 with the nice wheels, right?

Funny,

Looking at the review of that pipe, I notice that the Outy in the pictures has some NICE wheels. I do have to admit they look good.

Function over form. My wheels are already trashed. Save the pretty stuff for your street bike.
