Jeff got 4 more horse without changing anything other than tuning and the dyno's were reading the same. The first place was two main jet off and they said that it was as good as it gets.

 

I am curious about the numbers to. What does a stock bike turn on that dyno and how much did the build improve that?..............after Jeff got it tuned right.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

we were only comparing dyno's and people who run them, and know what they are doing. thats all, i dont know what a stock one runs on his dyno, and we dont realy care.

BTW- did jeff get his $50. ??????

He never answered the question. As Hightower said, no one can. That was the point of the challenge. Lift and duration aren't enough info to select cams. Jeff and i are good, we spoke in private on the matter and he showed me a couple other things i hadn't thought of[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

shmee's not telling any numbers because there not his numbers to give. He's showing respect to the one who the numbers belong to. But none of that matters we are just saying that Jeff is as good as anyone in the bizz but doesnt get the credit he deserves.

I wouldn't show my dyno numbers. . . make your own choice. (Guaranteed your thread will be hijacked if you do)

Glad to hear you were able to eek out a few more ponies with simple (by the right people) dyno tuning.

I need to do some tuning on my bike as well. I wouldn't doubt I could get at least a few extra HP with just a little tuning.

There is one guy up this way that I think would do a good job but, Blackhawk is right. . . a lot of guys think they know what they are doing and don't have a clue. Not saying it is easy with accelerator pumps and all but, learn how to use the equipment if you are going to charge someone for the work.

Nope, it is a builder promo. People like you give mad props to hpr. Thats all you here about on this forum. I just think its time Jeff gets some credit. As soon as we try to give Jeff a little credit you get on here and try to stir things up. WHY?


PS: this isnt an attack on hpr so dont even think about it.
