dave if i'm the "old buddy" nothing is up. I'v been riding alot. I'v wore down about 3/4th's of my tires treds this winter on the ice and snow. There Is NO way you can stop that beast from spinning. Hows your ds running? by the way do you have any mods?

300exster,..actualy I was talking to my old buddy "scottd" ...get it?.But thats cool you responded.Rode roughly yesterday 6 hours{'87 TRX250R} mighty cold out there was...31 degrees in NE.PA.Rode the Bomb last week & the Ds was running good.I too need rear tires stock ones just about wore out. Been thinking about "holeshots" not sure what I am getting what do you think?
DS mods so far, ..K&N air filter/outerwear prefilter,outer wear shock covers,PRM nerfs&all PRM skids.Ordered but not here yet 2001 carb updates throttle spring & cup,K&N "Jet Kit"...Waiting for more info. on aftermarket adjustable A-arms.
Also been rebuilding my '86TRX 250R in spare time

My ds runs awesome when its a tad bit cold outside (-40degrees with wind burrrrrr). How does the ds and yoru 250r compare in all the riding situations? Everyone says the ds is to fat and heavy and cant do anything, but i'd beg to difffer. Your ds sounds cool, any pictures? How about in a race (drag/woods/mx) with that 250r of yours, which win's the majority? How do all of those mods do on the ds? how ddi they effect the hp and torque of the engine? was it worth the $ thanks pal
