The starter seems to be stuck on my wife's Rally. There's a loud hum when you hit the button and the lights go dim indicating a high current draw. I got a schematic off the Bombardier company site, but it doesn't give a clue as to the actual location of the starter. If I'm going to get it freed up, I need to find it, hopefully without tearing the engine apart. People on this site seem to be very knowledgeable mechanically. Hopefully someone can tell me where the starter is mounted and how to get to it.

A stuck starter would probably be no problem on most quads that have both electric and recoil starting, but there is no rope to pull on the Rally. Every other machine I own that has electric start also has recoil starting, including my lawn mower. Now, I can sure see why.
