Default +4 " SWINGARM AND REAR SHOCK QUESTIONS

I took my Baja out with my +4" swingarm today for the first time and i have a couple of questions.Since i could not get the rear shock to bottom out even when pounding across the whoops should i leave it as is without having it re valved?I had to get a stronger spring for my Raptor to compensate for the longer swingarm but the Baja rear shock seems to be strong enough to use without any modifications.Any others using the stock rear shock with a +4" swingarm without any problems?I also will need a longer brake line but for now the stock one is secured to the subframe and does not even come close to the chain so at least temporarily this should work.I would like to hear from anyone who has ran the stock rear shock with a longer swingarm and how it has worked for you. Thanks for any responses.

I know Keith runs his stock, and I don't believe he did anything extra to it, and I have had my 300lb butt on that ride and did not hurt it...

Thats good to hear.I was expecting the shock to bottom out easily but as i said i could not get it to.The best thing about today was the 2nd gear 7000 to 7200 RPM starts that really were not possible before without too much front end lift.

Glenn.Ron(of ODP) installed this swingarm for me and really went out of his way to help me out.I was very impressed with the service i got from ODP and i will be a return customer for sure.I should elaborate on the above statement and i will.I called Ron from ODP earlier this week to inquire about a swingarm that i had ordered. When i contacted Ron he was on his way up north but said he had a swingarm that he thought i may want to take a look at and we arranged to meet that evening on his way back down.I met Ron and brought my Baja as he suggested and after i looked at the swingarm i was impressed and wanted to go forward with this deal so we loaded my Baja in his truck and we set up to meet saturday morning.I arrived at our meeting point and i was only there a short time when Ron pulled up with my Baja in his truck with my new swingarm installed and i loaded it up.Ron went way above and beyond for me and did it all with a smile and that is a rare thing these days. Thanks ODP you will hear from me again.
