The steering is light on the Max. I would put it somewhat heavier than a Grizzly but so much as a Prarie. It doesn't feel taxing. Gas mileage is on par with the Grizzly and Prarie. The 650's should be even better. Save the money and get the 650 Max. I would recommend the XT package however.
