I'm taking the family to the Oregon Dunes, first time for them. We are staying at the KOA in North Bend, and I know now that there are better places, but it looked good on the internet for the kids when they are not riding and for the little one that does not ride yet.
Any way, we are going to be there from this Thursday to Sunday. Part of this trip is to scout out other campgrounds and check out the riding at the other dunes. Can some of you let me know of some campgrounds to check out and where good dune access is for the other dunes? We are planing at least two more trips this summer.
Thanks in advance...

You could also stage in the lower parking lot at horsefall (cant remember what its called down there) Theres beach access where you can ride a maybe three mile stretch of beach out to bull run. The sand there is usually real good and the dunes are smaller for the kiddies.

Thanks!!
We ended up only riding one day, due to car trouble and went to Horsefall. It was fun to ride on the beach with the kids. We also rode alot of the trails together. The kids loved the whoops on the main trails, but they were a little slow for me on the DS.
Next time I plan on taking us to Goose Pasture, as we will be camping closer to it on our next trip.
