nitrogen pressure in shock?

Default nitrogen pressure in shock?

Does anyone know what the nitrogen pressure in the shock is suppose to be? What happens if too much is put in? Thanks

242. I wouldn't know but my husbands lost all of his this last week and had to know to put more in.

Default nitrogen pressure in shock?

300psi and it might be hard on the seals if you go much higher. I just got mine checked at me friends Honda shop, and it was down to 50psi, bringing it back up to the 300 stiffened the back end up a little, I had to reset my preload. The main thing the presure does is keep the shock oil from foaming, and the dampening consistent.
