Default Cylinder Studs??

Why would an OEM part shutting my bike down mean i don't get to be an HPR stud anymore?

Because to be a stud....you have to beat a stud....these are the rules of engagement.

Ahh! I see what you mean...........I lost with authority to Capewindy's boy who was piloting 2Big's Rainbow bike. Had i beat that team, I could still be an HPR stud, right?

If you spend 8-10k on a motor build and still cant compare E.T.'s to a stock motor.....you MIGHT be an HPR stud.

LOL! First, I didn't spend near that kind of money on the motor..........second, that stock motor was on NOS and well over 100 lbs lighter.

My run was 4.71 with just an 800 in a 415 - 425 lb chassis. How many hundrenths slower was that than your 4.6#?

Oh yeah, everyone i talked to at Dunefest said they were running 2 tenths slower than the dirt or heavy sand tracks because the sand was so loose and deep that weekend.

I am not dissatisfied with the motor's power.......I don't think HPR is either

Well, you must NOT be an HPR stud then.

Im only stating what the requirements are to be an HPR stud. You asked questions...Im providing answers. Simple math.

Oh yeah, we have all heard those excuses of a "slow" track...I've even used it a time or two....hmm, must be the reason why I only ran 4.6's instead of 4.4's.....due to my tires blowing off at the start.

my rule of thumb is to replace the studs every third time you crack the lid open, it certainly doesn't hurt to do it everytime if your pocket book can take it.

Mark - be proud of your bias To not embrace it is to either be ashamed of it or to assume we aren't bright enough to see it!

I am an HPR stud and proud of it!..............no matter what Scott says about my eligibility, lol
