run a titanium axle it will give you the more stealth look

Scooby i got the chain from RMATV and the sprockets from ON DUNES.I switched back to my stock front tires from the 23" that i was using Saturday and the front end coming up problem was not quite as bad.My DS really shoots out of the hole now.I am even beating some of the 120-130 lb youngsters on yfzs out of the hole and in most cases up the hill.

Which of the big boys are running the 520 on a duner? Can you get a 520 that is as strong or stronger than the 530?

FatHolly if you mean big boys in terms of physical size i kind of qualify at 230-235 lbs.If you mean big bore motors i cant answer that.I have only two dune rides on my 520 chain and sprockets and i ride the dunes pretty hard at times and i put the 520 through the paces this wekend without any problems. The tensile strength rating on my D.I.D 520 ERT2 chain is 8400 which should be plenty strong.

I pounded my 26" Gun-Drilled aluminum axle through some of the hardest whoops there is even when my bike was a full stock chassis and its still going strong. They are pretty durable, believe it or not. For the bigger boys on the bigger toys, I would recommend the 34" solid "play" aluminum axle just to be on the safe side. We dont want them bigguns getting hurt,

Holly, I've seen some fairly healthy people run these 520's without a problem. Just think about a 180hp banshee with a 300lb rider onboard,

Hey speaking of axles. Has anyone ever tried a predator or banshee axle for comparisons. I know those axles are also setup for tapered bearings and are much smaller, well at least the banshee axle is alot smaller. Anyone compare yet to see if they would work, I know my predator axle is a little smaller and narrower.
