Default 520 chain gains?

I tried my 520 chain and sprockets today for the first time at the dunes and it is a difference you can feel.I was not able to run against anyone that i have raced before to see exactly how much i have gained but the power seems to come on even stronger than before.I was practicing some 2nd gear starts and i could not keep the front end down as easy as i could before and the chain and its lack of stretch and resistance are probably the reason.I can make adjustments with tire pressure and suspension to compensate for the more aggresive take off.Right off i noticed that the chain was quieter and the whole feel was much smoother than with the 530.I am not sure just how much further i will take my stock bore as far as mods go but the 520 chain conversion seems to be worthwhile. The combination of my lightened hubs, buffed tires and 520 chain make my DS rev very much like a two stroke but of course with much more torque and that makes for a fun dune ride!!!

The aluminum axle sounds interesting but i am saving now for a Nitrous system so maybe some day?If i can gain just a few quad lengths i will be very pleased with my stock bore.Actually the aluminum axle would probably add a few lengths itself. You guys are a bad influence.LOL.

Hey speaking of axles. Has anyone ever tried a predator or banshee axle for comparisons. I know those axles are also setup for tapered bearings and are much smaller, well at least the banshee axle is alot smaller. Anyone compare yet to see if they would work, I know my predator axle is a little smaller and narrower.
