Default 730 help

ok my new 730 is full of oil, engine ice,100 octane, all the iwres are zip tied off the muffler fresh oil fresh filter fresh engine ice, battery is fully charged , the vortex was installed, all bolts were checked, double checked and then i did it one last time. give me the proper procedure for doing the first time start on a new motor build, should i just let it turn over a few times before i let it start, should i just fire it up? how long do i need to let it run before i shut it off. do i have to ride it as soon as i get it started or can i do whatever i need to do with it just idaling, i am gonna let the fan blow on it if i can just let it idle on the rack.

Let it idle just long enough for you to get your riding gear on and back it out the garage and let er rip, Ride it like ya stole it,

First fire it up DONT rev high just fire it up and listen for anything knocking or out of place sounds. Then get on her and cruize nice and easy for a few mins then go through the gears and put her under load but dont rev past 6-7 k... gas it from 3- 4k to 6500 throught the gears. JMO... Thats what I did and she runs like a champ.

LOL! No 2big dont let it just idle. Those are a fast break in rings, Needs to have varying rpm under load. I think its about 45min total. change the oil then ride it like it was lent to Viper!

Default 730 help

let me just say that my neighbors got a nice ear full when i took the bike for its break in ride at 6 oclock this morning. everything checked out the only leak i had was the sensor on the back of the thermastat housing. i was able to give it about a three quarters of a turn so that should take care of that. i honestly think my older 730 is faster. i just did get the feeling i get on the old one. maybe im just losing my mind. anyway all three of my babies are up and running now. i wonder how long it will last this time
