Don't know about that but they did take first and thrid place on the Outlanders so I don't think that is true. Remember the majority of racers are choosing them because they feel they have the best chance of winning on one.

Well, I'd just like to see some real documentation, this issues has appeared on other forums but it seems vague and mostly "I've heard there are problems with frames". Thing is I haven't heard from any actual owners who've had problems with broken frames such as the Arctic Cat 650 owners who are reporting broken frames in huge numbers on forums.

I'd also like to know the nature of the broken frames. How did they break? Where did they break? What conditions was the quad being used under when the break occured? If guys are jumping these things and getting broken frames then shame on them, thats not what these quads are made for. They use the same frame technology on two up's and I don't recall reading ANY problems with broken frames on the two seaters.

Not true. That was on 04s only, and a handful of people reported it. Lets not exaggerate

I'm looking to get a RENEGADE when they are available but, I don't want to get something that is going to have major issues.

I found a forum on a different site that had quite a large number of people report cracks in their frames, considering it's just a random online forum the number of complaints seemed quite significant to me and suggested a trend rather then a fluke, apparently AC used the frame from the 500 for the 650 and it simply couldn't hold up. I'm not slamming AC but if it was only the 04's then I presume they addressed the problem going forward.

I have heard the same thing V2 is saying. I would like to hear more about the Bombs frame though. I have looked at that frame real close and I don't think it would handle dragging across a rock at all. Just my opinion. Plinked it, and it sounded thin. Two round tubes would have to be better. I am thinking of trading next year, and probably will. But I dont know for what. I like the Bombs power and thats its biggest asset. I would probably fabricate a gaurd for it though.

On another forum consisting of Outy owners only, there has not been one post regarding a broken frame. (This forum is mostly DS riders.)

Your post is unsubstantiated. Something you heard.

Go ahead and get the Renegade if you're a serious forum member. The '06 Outys do not have any major issues.
