Need a new piston which one?

Okay i tore the DS down after it wouldnt run, and the rings are fried on my 11.5 JE. Im curious as what i should do. Get new rings for the 11.5 or Go higher compression. I really liked the added power of the 11.5 but im still looking for a little more, so i checked out ondunes and saw the Mrhp 12:1 super light for 250, but then i noticed a CP 14:1 for 250. im undecided as to which one i should buy. getting race fuel wont be a problem im just curious as to which one will put a bigger smile on my face?

I went from 11.5:1 to 14:1, mega big smile on my face!
curious as to why your rings fried, I took out my 11.5 after four years of use, many hundreds of hours, rings still good.

I thought i would be stepping my compression up from my 11.5:1 to a 14:1 but now that my motor has some break in time on it i am getting such great performance that i will stay with the 11.5:1.I am running the HPR 12:1 superlight gasketed for 11.5:1 and i am very pleased with the gains i have made. I have no doubt that a 14:1 has the potential to provide more power but my 11.5:1 works so well with all my other mods that i dont want to mess with anything right now.

i fried my rings because the temp light came on... and i was only a little ways from camp (1-2) miles so i figured that i could make it if i babyed it.... so i was just puttin along 1/4 throttle in 4th and she just bogged out and had no compression after that :-(
