Well we went mountain riding last weekend, and crash has broke his bike again. We were coming around a corner, and decided to double back for another trail. We did that, and I came up behind Crash and his axel was on fire....Crash already had real flame on his ride haha....It seems the rear brake locked up, and ran to the point of flames....Any Ideas on what would cause this...

Sand or dirt in the weep hole causing the pressure to build instead of release. At least this is what can happen to ther rear brakes, but I've never heard of it on the DS yet.

thats really odd what lit up the brake fluid or did the pads just get that hot that they lit up...maybe the piston on the caliper was stuck from dirt like oregon said or mayb something else was stuck like the foot brake.

try backing off on the brake pedal likage so the fluid can go back into the resivoir and not be trapped between the master and slave cylinder this will solve your problem unless your slave cylinder is siezed.

That is very odd, but hopefully that it is a easy fix.
