Whats the best rear tires for the ds650.Mainly for mud,hard dirt.Possibly h-d holeshots,or any other all around good rear tire.Thanks for the help!

 

I really like my Maxxis All Traks. I have the 22x11x9 and they are really holding up well. I ride a lot on shall and rocky fire roads and they are a lot better than the stock Kenda my DS came with, not that that would be hard to do. They are not as popular as the Razzors or Holeshots, but I think the larger ***** will hold up better to the DSs torque. They also seem to work well in mud, for a knobby. Plus they are not expensive.

I forget what they are called now but Shredders are also cheap and do wonders in the traction department. Only thing is they are kind of soft. So if you ride on rock and really hard packed stuff they will wear.

 

I like the I-Razr alot. We have them on both mine and my wifes
They hook up great, have worn well and handle alot better than
the stock tires. The stock Ohtsu was way to squishy in the side
walls, and punctured very easily. We ride all kinds of terrain and
they seem to be good all around.

I use round ones made of rubber . they used to have lots of bumps on them when I got them but they are mostly gone now . round tires make the bike go. I like things that make me go...

 

I ride in mud and trail ride and I have maxxis razr's front and back and really like them alot stock sizes also

 

I do a lot of trails, mud, snow, hills, riverbed riding and I bought the 22 inch Sand Tires unlimited mud machine A/Ts. Best tire I have bought. I had realitors and they are ok in the snow but spin more than bite and on hard pack dirt and grass they just spin, no bite at all. I also have a set of Maxis razer 2s that the only time I put them on is when I strictly trail ride and nothing else. The mud machines are the best all around tire I have found out of all of them. I maxis razer 2s are good but I can't use them in the riverbeds with sand and mud I just dig myself in and get stuck. The Mud Machines work great on hard pack, better in the snow than the realitors, and I have gone through heavy/tacky/clay mud with the front tires 3/4 sunk in and the skid plates dragging and went through it in 1st gear. They just kept pushing me through it little by little feathering the trouttle.
