Default Valves and shims

Need some help all. I am checking the valve clearence, and need to pull the cams to see what shims I have to order new ones. How do I loosen the chain in there to get the cams out???

dragon i take the cam tenioner out then take the plastic piece out between the gears then take off a gear then take the cam bridge off. there might be a easirer way i but i do not know it yet.

Ok, pulled up eaglecollecters step by step guide, and that helps....I forgot a step or two... [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img] Anyone have the info to make my own locking plug really quick, so I can lock in TDC?

Default Valves and shims

Brent - If you haven't already taken your cams out, once you get it to TDC, take a digital photo of the gear end of the cams just for reference when you put it back together. Sometimes it is hard to get the lines perfectly horizontal on the cam gears and this will help you err on the right side so you are not a tooth off on either cam[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
