Today i went for a spin for about an hour... Just awhile ago i decided to tune'er up a little. I checked the oil, topped the coolent, cleaned the filter. Afterwards before loadin the quad back up i wented to rip down the road. I tried to start the DS but it wouldn't turnover unless i gave it some gas. Ive never had any problems before!?! Useally if its flooded it will turnover anyway and runz alright

BTW i tried again 10min later.... same results

I dont know why opening the carb would make it turn over, unless its just a dead battery and that little bit helped get it turning. How old is the battery?

Battery is over a yr old... when i 1st bought the bike almost 4yrs ago it had a bad battery. This seems different. I dont think is the battery. Im thinkin along the line of not gettin enough air?

Well, if the float is stuck, and the bike is nose heavy, it will spill the fuel into the cylinder. I guess if that was the case, opening the carb would help to get rid of all the fuel in the cylinder. It would probably throw a nice flame out the tail pipe once it started. Or worse, bikefire like a ****.

Drain the bowl and see if the float is stuck. Check the dummy switch on the bars. Check plugs and make sure they are good. Check the pitcock by taking the line off the carb and opening the pitcock to see if gas will run out. If its getting fire and gas it should run
