i know this is a atv forum but i had no where else to post this sorry

im getting my wisdom teeth extracted this coming week and im scared beacuse they are taking all 4 of them out and i here horror stories of people losing feeling in there lips and a bunch of other stuff. have any of you guys have had there wisdom teeth taken out please share your experience here thanks.

Its not that big of a deal you will be numb for a few hours then fine after that.

You can even be put out for this so you don't even have to know anything that is going on. I just got the shots and the only bad thing that happened is he went to deep with one of the shots and hit a nerve and bruised my chin-cheek area but it really wasn't that bad. You will be fine. No need to worry.

 

I'm sure everyone is a lil different. I ate steak that night it was a lilttle too soon. Next couple days was tender to temp, but otherwise business as usual.

 

I had mine taken out and the next day I was snorkling at Gab Gab on Big Navy while I was stationed in Guam. Not a big deal at all.

 

I agree with rcoop. Everyone is different but it is just like anything else you are suppose to only have liquids for a little while so eat alot of icecream and soup. It will be a little tender buy advil and tylenol should help ya just fine. I can't do those pain killers they do weird things to me. I swear it will be just fine.

 

ohh cool i thought i was going to be in bed for a week with a swollen mouth and eating everything thru a straw thanks for the good news.

I will have to disagree with all!! in boot camp I had 2 wisdom teeth pulled, by young navy officers horrible!! developed a dry socket!!! meaning the new holes in my gums were the blood should of sealed the hole did not , air was in between the gum and the blood, pain like you never can imagine!!! the fresh breath you take to live, was elimanated. felt like suffacating my self!! they had to stick a needle through the clotted blood ,scab, to release the air and let the blood replace the air!!! oucccccccccccccchhhhhhhhhhhhhh!! as i look back its all good we all got the proper training the squids, and me no doubt!!!!! all seriousness aside good luck!!!!!! SEMPER FI if I cant hit you at 500 yards I know my wife can, she was a expert in the Marine corps 3 years in a row!! if the ar10, dont work the 50 cal will!!

 

I'm in the Dental field. Own a Dental lab. 20 yrs>> All 4 at one time can be a bit much for some folks But My SIS had all 4 removed ,same time >>>> swelling ,, no real food for a couple days, ALL OVER !! Don;t sweet it !!

and the PAIN pills Are cool lol!!lol!!
