I had a 7X12 H&H I had three sideways in there. What I would do is push it in backwards angle the rear to the sie then pick up the front and drag it up and into place keep the wheels cocked to the outside when loading and to the inside when unloading. stock bumper and grab bar I had about 4 inches in the front and 4 in the back. piece of cake

We hauled Bigdaddy660's raptor back to his trailer for him so you can ask him he saw that DS turned sideways. It fit in that trailer that is all I am saying.

Get a bigger trailer, you'll eventually need more space anyway.
I have a 54" side door so I just can pull my DS in the trailer.

Summit Racing sells some aluminum wheel dolleys, I might just pick of 4 of those and give it a shot if I can't swing it around.

I'm sure you could stand it up if you wanted to. I can stand my Bruin up on the rear wheels.. 530+ lbs i believe. Like you said, its not fun and shouldnt travel like that. But it makes working on it easy

most 1/2 ton pick-ups with 5.0L-5.4L engines are rated for 7 or 8 thousand pounds towing capacity, but if you have ever spent any real amount of time towing and have done it across country on 28 hour hauls across all the mountain ranges then you know that you really need to cut that # in half, and if you really don't wanna slow down much on the big hills then 1/3 of that is a better # to shoot for. Pulling too big a trailer adds several hours to the haul time on a 1800 mile trip that we easterners make for big dunes. and 8' wide trailers sure do suck pulling through construction zones, of which at least a few hours of that 28 hour drive will have. Getting an 8' X 16' should not be that big of difference.
