Might get an Outlander today?

That's some good info guys. thanks. I like your attitude Capt., but i don't have the "payin cash" bargining tool as i'm going to have to finance a portion of the bike. I will do homework and get prices from many other dealerships though so i have something to compare with before i walk in the store.
One more question, what kind of deal is reasonable if i wanted a buddy pack? If i'm buying two and a trailer, i'm thinkin the dealership would want to move two at MSRP rather than trying to put the screws to ya for freight and vehicle prep. I understand the "build" part of the price in that they have to assymble it and put fluids in(i think), but $200 to wipe down the ride and make it look pretty is kinda stupid.

There isn't much to assembly anymore. I had a dealer tell me they had five hours of assembly per ATV, LOL, YEAH RIGHT. Handle bars and tires?
You should never pay more then MSRP OTD period.

Conversation might go something like this:
“What is the best number OTD you can give me to put that Outlander in the back of my truck right now?”
He gives you a number and starts talking freight set up financing tax.
“No, I'm talking cash right now. No freight, no bogus set up charges none of that ridiculousness nothing. I want your best OTD price because I'm not going to stand here and haggle and dicker with you.”
At this point a wad flash might be in order.
He gives you a number.
“OK I can get that same ATV at another dealership in (where ever) for (whatever price). I can drive there and get it or I can have my brother in law who drives a truck deadhead it back for me but I thought I'd check here first. If you can meet that price I'll buy from you. If you can you sell me that Outlander for (whatever price -lowball it a little if you want to push it) OTD, cash, right here, and load it in the back of my truck, we'll do this deal right now. You want this cash or do you want me to go get a cashiers check?”
If he won't do it politely thank him for his time and walk out. Wiggle a few bucks on the price if you want to play around but if he won't deal walk out. Always be polite by the way. Be firm and be affable but be businesslike and to the point. Don't ever raise your voice or take anything personal. This is just business.
