I don't know what it runs since it only got wired up today. What is a under 300 pound rigid stock bore supposed to run ?

When I had the hpr genisis motor in my old ds, it ran consisitant 4.82's. Stock bore, stock stroke with everything else. In the sand it actually got slower, but I never had the right set of tires for it.

I could have sworn some people were running in the 4.4 range last fall?????? There is a huge difference between 4.82 and 4.4. Lets here these times!!

on a side note:
Has anyone ever looked up the phrase "drag banshee" in ebay? There is always some character in there selling, claiming his machine runs 3.1 at 120 mph, with his 80hp machine. LOL gotta get me one of those!!

Rigid? So you don't have a DS that is a hill racer?

I never owned a hill racer. Just had a 770 and 730 dune bike.

So your signature should probably say, "Anyone, Flat track only, Anytime J/K, lol

Was the 730 an HPR or a Pami? (725).....or was it a custom build?

OK, NUT, I see where you will be Sept 3 @1200, I'll show up, and make sure you and Rcoop are getting a fair start at the bottom, sounds like you with your 810, and Rcoop on his 300lb stock bore should pretty much take anything but the fast shee's, see you guys out there, no excuses for ya all. Rcoop, the hill outside of Frontier is smooth, I see rigid bikes running out there all the time, so if South Jetty hill is two whooped up, see you over at the "new" comp hill by Frontier.

Its a stroker. Thanks for the advise, but I'll leave it the same that old 770 in the "stock" frame can hold it's own. It can't catch the rigid in 300 feet that was proven behind the shop already. It does own more timeslips below 4.5 then it has over. It just likes to launch a little wild on the button to be a consistant drag bike. Plus I really liked the idea of a stock bore running deep into 4's. So hopefully we can get this thing figured out or I just wasted a bunch of money for nothing. Lol.
