Default Plug heat range #

I am using NGK 1299 JR10B plugs in my 11.5:1 stock bore and i am using pump premium with good results but...what effect if any will 1 or 2 heat ranges down in #(9 or8) do? I searched on this subject with limited results so any information will be appreciated.

More power & torque. I run a projected NGK plug in an 8 temperature range with the turbo.
