if you want a budget mudder go for a 86-89 suzuki samurai you can find them for about 800 to 1000.00 bucks they are very relible work great in the mud and parts are really cheap a clutch if i remeber correctly runs about 65 dollars.

I have seen them here at the local spot here in asuza california and these suzukis can take a beating or you can get a old blazer for about 2k but you are going to spend alot of money to get it to be mudder ive seen these blazers get stuck and the suzukis go thru the same spots like nothing but it up to you ohh and one more thing they get 25-30 mpg vs 6-9 mpg from a blazer with big tires.

Yeah,we have alot of trucks but our problem is once we get it we put to much $$ in it an then we wont mud with it.We do have our blazer(6,000 in it).My uncle has his samari(1500$$ in it).The suzuki is a little underpowered. And we dont have a locking diff in it yet.The blazer has about 4,500$ in the motor and 1,500$ in tires.A 100$ rihno liner paint job(spray can). Not many mudholes stop our blazer.

there is a easy fix for the samurai you swap out the old 1.3 and swap it for 1.6 from the newer tracker and it picks up like 35hp wich is alot for these little suzukis.
