Default 400ho can-am

okay im closing in on a quad! got my mind set on the suzuki vinson 500 or the can-am 400ho. i was wondering on the can-am. is it a comfortable ride and how does the front diff. lock work? is it a decent mudder? also i was wondering on the speed i ride with bigger quads like the forman 500 or the polaris 500ho. im just worrying if i can keep up with the polaris on speed wise? how fast does a stock 400ho go and does it get there pretty fast? if you can answer my questions i would appreciate it.

compared to the sportsman 500 back when we first became a dealer before the 800 we had a 400 camo non-xt demo and were racing up hill against the sportsman and getting 2-3 lengths constantsly everytime its a pretty good mudder and top speed just kinda depends we've had some that will only go 52-53 and had some that would go 62 and it gets to 50 decently quick and then sometimes takes a lil bit past that depending on how it runs and i would highly recomend an aftermarket exhaust and jet kit which i think the only people who make 1 is big gun and last time we tried to order from them it was absolutely wrong so i would call to big gun before purchasing and make sure they got everything sorted out

In comparison to the Polaris, the 400 Outtie feels "sporty". It's lighter and has a peppier feel to it. Test ride both, then you will truly appreciate the Outtie. I have an 05 and love it. As far as mods go I have a K&N filter, Big Gun exhaust, Dalton clutch kit.

Yes it can keep up with the 500ho. I have ran my outy 400 against my dads 500ho on all day rides and never had a problem staying ahead of him. Once I put the bigger tires and rims on then we would run side by side all day.
