I've had my '06 Max up to 95km/h (59 mph)

so im guessing about 60-62mph for the regular outlander since yours is bigger. who else thinks that the 400ho can beat out the polaris 500ho on fast straight trails. lookin for the fastest quad between these two. tough decision!

Outtie gets to 50 mph quicker than polaris. From 50 mph on up it flattens out. Mine tops at about 55 mph, but I'm a big guy. You will not have any trouble running with the polaris. The polaris weighs 100+ pounds more. Like I said earlier just go test ride them both. Nobody on here is lying to you!

ok thanks. thats what ive been hearing that it gets to 50-55 quick and then steadys out. but with the 400ho vs the 500ho polaris do you know through experince or you have heard? just asking not thinking your not telling me the truth but it would make me feel better to go to the dealer saturday knowing what im comparing.

I have not personally ridden with a Polaris 500. However, one guy in my group has a 04 Polaris 400 and it's not even close. It's like the Polaris 400 is standing still. One guy rides a Kodiak 400, once again not even close. One guy rides a Prairie 650 and no I can not take the 650 in a drag race. I have gone farther then the Prairie in mud and snow thanks to the Outties independant rear suspension for ground clearance.

Another one I raced this week was a friends '06 AC 400 auto, we took him in a drag race and thats with two of us on the Max to boot.

oh okay. so the bike is very quick and can possibly beat a 500ho. thanks and if anyone know for sure it can just pm me thanks
