shift forks replacment

You can adjust it at the lever. Just start loosening up the cable and once it all the way loose and you can still pop it in gear, you have problems. But once your cable starts getting a little slack in it, it should do the trick.

my cable is really tight there is no play in the cable at all

Oh man, this is probably your problem. Just loosen the cable with the adjustment on the lever. You want the lever to be fairly loose. Let me know how it works.

if i loosen it up i will have play in the lever i thought the adjuster was suppose to get rid of the play

Now, Im not talking about enough play that there is slack in the cable. Im talking about enough play to where you can wiggle the lever.

i just got back from trying to adjust the clutch on ds but its not getting any better is there a test i can do to make sure its not the shift forks or is it most likely the clutch beacuse the last time i took it out i got a little clutch smoke out of it and it was slipping a little bit.


i used amsoil 10w 40 the one that comes in the 4 gallon black can

If your clutch is properly adjusted then Im thinking your clutches are probably gone for you running them soooo tight.
