Dude, I was calling the BS card because I didn't believe the 650 would beat the Polaris 800, plain and simple.

No problem, but I can probably still beat that 700 with my big wheel, nitro injected Toys R Us Special edition.

-Arctic Cat has a very simple effective 4x4 system. Very tipsy and bouncy on trails.
-Can-Am is highly overrated. They are not the best and have been around for less than a year. Comfy ride, lots of torque. 4x4 system slow and sloppy to kick in. Havent yet got the IRS as good as it should be.
-Kawasaki is a very reliable machine on the trails. Has a lot of low end power and very fast. Agressive design and nice strut activity in ther front.
-Polaris is the most reliable. Has the first introuduced IRS and is the best, most comfortable ride. Perfect suspension and a lot of ground clearance. Much protection and undercarriage is made of steel rather than plastic.
-Yamaha is a brute but has slow speeds and tranny is most likely to go on this machine. believe me ive seen it happen more times than any other ATV brand. This brand is kind of like the Dodge trucks. Gas hog.
-Honda-reasonably fast with acceleration in the mids.. Bad 4x4 design and cooling system not reliable. This ATV has the most oldest technology of any brand.>>>>>>>>>>>
Interesting opinions but do you have any facts to back this up?
How much better should the IRS be on the Outlander?
Honda reasonably fast? LOL, I have a Rincon and FAST isn't a word I'd use. The new Rincon has EFI, so hardly oldest technology it's JUST about up to date.
Polaris is the most reliable? NOT according to a number of dealers I've dealt with who USED to carry Polaris.
I know a few people with Yamaha's and haven't had any transmission problems. The new Grizzly is EFI and based on the Raptor 700 engine.
Interesting though, you had ZERO negative things to say about Polaris. Is this truly an unbiased opinion? Not likely.

This post was, as Raidermike was getting at, biased toward Polaris, and it is plainly obvious

I believe the Outlanders have been around since about 2003, the 800 was introduced in 2006 so it's not a first year machine. And the front suspension on the Outlander my not be the best but I don't think there is a better IRS design out there.
Fast Hondas -- never seen one ... LOL, thats like saying Polaris makes a light, sporty utility quad!

Yes, and both the 400 and 650 have been declared ATV of the year by various publication FWIW. The 800 is based on the exact same platform as the original 400 with the obvious upgrades along with other minor ones.
