Ever since I put on my +4 swingarm I have been fighting a chain ratle on my DS. I notice it most at low speeds and under torgue. I have adjusted the chain, lubed the chain and sprockets and inspected my chain roller.
If I lube the chain it goes away for a short period but the rattle always returns.
Does anyone have any suggestions or have had this problem???

If your new swingarm doesn't have a good chain guide and now you have a longer chain, it is going to make more noise. Unless it obviously sounds destructive and is leaving evidence of that on the sprockets............
My recommendation is to put a nice aftermarket pipe on the bike so you can't hear the chain

I was able to install the stock chain guides on this swing arm and that is part of the noise

I had a strange rattle on my 2000 DS with a stock swing arm, and found out the stock sprocket hub was almost a 1/4 out of round. It made it real hard to adjust the chain, one minute it fine, the next its way to tight. It also made the chain flop around alot when just putting around.
Anyway I ordered a new one from BikeBandit and it was true, and aluminum so I saved some weight and go rid of the flopping chain.
