Jed, I got to talk to your Father quite a bit at Pismo and LS. He was a good guy, but one thing that kept peaking it's head out was the pain he was in. He couldn't mask it no matter how hard he tried. I am glad I got to spend some time with him again at LS. While I know you hurt, take pleasure knowing that he's walking with the Lord right now.

Very sorry to hear Jed. Our thoughts to you, your brother and the rest of the family's.

A friend of my buddy's son came up to the dunes this weekend with his Dad. At one point I heard the boy say, "See, aren't you glad you came Dad." That got me. . . your life savings can't buy you moments like that.

I've heard of people trying to justify the money we all spend on this sport. . . the rides My Wife and Daughter and I all enjoy and the times we are together and with other life-long friends are priceless.

I'm sure your Dad felt the same way about the time he spent with you and your Brother.

Thanks again all. This morning is a better day. I feel for any and everyone that has ever gone through this. This is my first close loss. Unfortunatly it was my dad who is also one of my best friends. The Pismo trip on Fathers day meant everything to the both of us. I am so glad that we had the chance to go.
I appreciate everyone comments. I needed them.

Thanks again.

Jed.
